Kim Collins GIS and Data Analytics

About Me
Originally hailing from Cordova, Alaska, now living in Oregon. During the formative years of my career, I dedicated my summers to commercial salmon fishing in Alaska while utilizing the winters for obtaining my B.A. in Earth Science from the University of Alaska Fairbanks. Settling in Portland provided me with the opportunity to channel my enthusiasm for geography into professional endeavors. I earned my GIS master certificate from Portland State University and subsequently augmented my skill set by successfully completing a Data Analytics Bootcamp.

I enjoy finding data-driven solutions for clients in every industry I work in. From sporting goods manufacturers to tourism and travel, non-profits and associations; I take pride in offering solutions and recommendations to stakeholders using a holistic view of the marketplace and both internal and external data sources.

When I'm not crunching the numbers I enjoy biking around Portland and the surrounding wilderness, camping, hiking, backyard gardening, and traveling.
